Aydan McKay (he/him)

I am master's student at the University of Victoria working with Dr. Sébastien Fabbro and Dr. Kim Venn. I received my Bachelor of Science (Honours) With Distinction from the University of Victoria. My main research areas are in data-driven and machine-learning algorithms for the purpose of Galactic archaeology. I am particularly interested in ultra metal-poor stars and the Pristine and Gaia DR3 surveys. I am currently using the aforementioned surveys and others to extract stellar features from large datasets.
